The conductive material is made of PU (Polyurethane) leather, infused with carbon. The smooth leatherette side of the computer grounding mat is placed upwards toward you hands or feet. Snap facing upward.
To maintain contact of grounding mat it is best to use bare feet or skin but when wearing clothing use thin cotton socks, or natural fiber clothing between your body and the earthing grounding mats.
